Discover the power of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math at Camp Skimino’s STEM Center! Located in the beloved Norfolk Lodge, the STEM Center offers a variety of hands-on, interactive activities in STEM subjects for all grade levels. With brand new equipment, educational materials, and STEM kits, Girl Scouts can earn badges in astronomy, robotics, mechanical engineering, and automotive engineering — and everyone can have fun with interactive games and special programs!
Girl Scout troops can reserve the STEM Center through several rental packages when they make a reservation for the Norfolk Lodge. Package options are varied to fit every troop’s STEM interest and experience.

Reserve the Norfolk Lodge at Camp Skimino to access STEM Center activities. Please contact customercare@gsccc.org to get started with your STEM Center booking! (Members may make reservations online through the VTK.)
- The Eyeclick OBIE Projector casts interactive, motion-sensitive games on the floor and wall, where Girl Scouts complete educational challenges by moving, leaping, tapping, and throwing soft objects at the projected images. The OBIE must be reserved at least 2 weeks prior to the first day of your Norfolk Lodge reservation, in time blocks that match your reservation (2 hour meeting, half day, full day / overnight).
- STEM Club Kits ($40 per girl) – Engineer and build real machines! Choose from Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, and Robotics. Kits include 3 projects, 3 sets of instructions, 3 badges, and 1 badge booklet. Kits must be ordered at least 2 weeks prior to the first day of your Norfolk Lodge reservation.
- Intro to Drones Program – Book a fun and engaging program led by a specialist during your visit! Reservations must be made one month in advance; contact customercare@gsccc.org for information and scheduling.

Pets are not permitted on GSCCC properties. Service animals specifically trained to aid a person with a disability are welcome. Comfort and/or emotional support animals are not service animals and are not recognized by the ADA.
