What girls learn today will solve tomorrow’s problems. Girls are the leaders and innovators that our future requires, and Girl Scouting gives them the tools they need to succeed.
Access to Girl Scouting should not be limited by factors beyond girls’ control.
GSCCC’s Community Troop Programs aim to serve all girls regardless of their circumstances, bringing programming directly to the places girls already are.
Community Troops are led by trained Girl Scout staff members, called Community Troop Specialists, who guide girls through activities in various schools, churches and community centers, as well as virtually. Girls take part in engaging, challenging, and fun activities like earning badges, traveling, selling cookies, exploring science, getting outdoors, and doing community service projects—all part of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
