Flexible, fun, and right in line with your goals.
There are many ways girls can take part in Girl Scouts; the flexibility is a perfect fit for families that homeschool. Depending on their free time and interests, they can register individually, as part of an interest group, or join a troop.
The Girl Scout Leadership Experience focuses on four key areas: STEM, Outdoors, Life Skills, and Entrepreneurship. The content of all Girl Scout national proficiency badges and journeys have been correlated by grade level to national Common Core Standards, 21st Century Skills Standards, Financial Literacy Education Standards, and curriculum such as Health and PE, Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies learning objectives for all 50 states and the District of Columbia. You can “mix and match” Girl Scout badges with the curriculum you are using!
