Girl Scouts Unite: That’s a Wrap!

Girl Scouts Unite filled the week with hands-on activities, educational experiences, and moments of connection across generations. Plenary speakers Tatyana McFadden, Chrissy Teigen, and Laurene Powell Jobs shared insights on leadership, resilience, and finding your voice, and Gold Award Girl Scouts were celebrated.

The 59th National Council Session and Girl Scouts Unite will be hosted in Indianapolis, Indiana, in 2029, home of high speed, big dreams, and tight-knit community. Girl Scouts will fit right in!

Delegates voted by acclamation to elect the proposed National Board and National Board Development Committee slate for the next triennium.
The Girl Scout Highest Awards Solicitation of Contributions proposal passed as written, allowing councils to establish their own policies and procedures to guide these fundraising efforts if they choose.
The Membership Dues and Procedures for Registration proposal passed as written, allowing dues to increase by up to 15% within a triennium, with continued input from councils and delegates before any change.
Delegates determined the Preservation of Girl Scout Leadership Experience Relating to the Entrepreneurial Program proposal was not in order and removed it from consideration.
