Internships that Make a Difference

Interns with the Girl Scouts of the Colonial Coast can expect to gain a sense of pride while receiving professional recognition. Internship opportunities are available in a variety of areas. Wherever your area of interest, Girl Scouts interns get to be involved with an organization that allows them to make a difference in girl's lives while gaining professional experience.

  • Internship experiences may be tailored to meet the student’s individual learning and development needs
  • Internships are unpaid.  However a limited number of paid human services internships are available each semester.  Please contact the human resources department to learn more.
When We Need You
  • We offer internship opportunities for all semesters: spring, summer, and fall.  Assignments may vary based on the time of year you are interning
What We're Looking For
  • Must be receiving college credit.  If internship is not for credit, please contact the human resources department to learn more about administrative volunteer opportunities
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, email, and internet research
  • Ability to give and receive information by telephone and in person
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize work while managing multiple deadlines
  • Must successfully complete a criminal background investigation
  • Must be willing to become a registered member of Girl Scouts of the USA (membership fees are paid by GSCCC.)
