Delegates are elected representatives who act as liaisons between GSCCC membership and its Board of Directors and staff. The Delegate Body provides oversight of our Bylaws, which are the foundation for our Council’s governance, by participating in a triennial review of the Bylaws, proposing and possibly approving amendments. The nature of this position is to provide indirect service to girls. Delegates are elected by their Service Units while National Delegates are elected by the GSCCC Board.
Delegate Body
GSCCC’s Delegate Body hold their annual meeting each fall for elected Service Unit Delegates to hear the State of the Council, to elect Service Unit Delegate Board and Board Committee members, and to approve proposed amendments to the bylaws.
National Council Delegates represent our Council at the Girl Scouts of the USA National Council Session/Convention, held every three years, during their three-year term.
The next Girl Scout National Council Session and Convention will
