Ready to start working towards earning a Highest Award, one of the new Leadership Awards, or just want to develop your leadership skills? This is the first of three workshops that will help you rise to the challenge of making a difference in your community!
Girl Scout alum and Gold Awardees will share their experiences, and Girl Scout Juniors and older will be given an overview of the Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards. All Girl Scouts levels will learn how to seek out community issues, discover their passions and strengths, and get ideas for how to take action.
Please note that no Leadership Awards will be earned at this workshop as they should be personal for every Girl Scout; however, they will leave feeling inspired and equipped with new skills and ideas. We encourage attendance at all three workshops:
- Set It To Get It with Goal Setting: Leadership Workshop #2 will take place on February 6 at Camp Skimino.
- Teamwork Makes the Dream Work: Leadership Workshop #3 will take place on April 24 at A Place for Girls.
Drop-off event: This event is for Girl Scout youth members only and event hosts will provide proper adult ratios. Adults are welcome to stay on site and to listen in, but will be encouraged to let the Girl Scouts work on their own.
You will receive a reminder email with final details during the week prior to this event. If you do not receive anything by the Wednesday before this event, please reach out to CustomerCare@gsccc.org.
