Happy Birthday, Girl Scouts! 110 Years

Girl Scout Week

Plan ahead for March when we celebrate National Girl Scout Week!

Share with others how Girl Scouting is a place where girls build courage, confidence and character to make their communities and the world a better place. Join us each day as we celebrate our worldwide sisterhood.

Sunday, March 6: Girl Scout Sunday
Kick off Girl Scout Week with an opportunity to attend your place of worship and be recognized as a Girl Scout. If a place of worship is the group sponsor, girls may perform a service, such as greeting, ushering, or doing a flag ceremony. This is also a great time to explore other faiths. View church bulletins and bulletin inserts here.

Monday, March 7: Step Into the World of STEM
Build confidence and learn more about women in the STEM field. Take turns picking your favorite STEM badge.

Tuesday, March 8: Learn a few traditional songs!
We recommend starting with, “I’ve Got Something in My Pocket,” “Make New Friends,” and “Boom Chicka Boom.”

Wednesday, March 9: Girl Scout Spirit Day
It’s time to show off your Girl Scout pride. Wear your uniform or favorite GS shirt wherever you go.

Thursday, March 10: Girl Scouting Around the World
Learn about a country and prepare a traditional meal, or begin writing letters to a faraway pen pal!

Friday, March 11: Get Active & Outdoors
Happy Friday! Girl Scout Week is wrapping up, so let’s get outdoors today and explore the natural world with family and friends!

Saturday, March 12: Girl Scout Sabbath—Happy 110th Bithday to Us!
Have a Girl Scout birthday party with your troop.
