Program Partners

Program partners are organizations within the Hampton Roads area who have been approved by Girl Scouts of the Colonial Coast to offer events and activities that fit within the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.

There are three types of program partners: event partners, resource partners, and service partners. Each partnership fits under one of our four program pillars.

Program Event Partners are organizations that provide activities or events tailored to the Girl Scout programs. These programs incorporate the Girl Scout National Program Portfolio which consists of The Girls’ Guide to Girl Scouting and the Girl Scout Leadership Journeys.

Programs can be created to give girls the opportunity to complete part, or all, of a specific Journey or badge.

Program Resource Partners are organizations that provide activities or events with a discounted fee for Girl Scouts. Activities do not need to be tailored to the Girl Scout program but may include badge activities.

These opportunities might also include shows, tours, or games. Many times, these discounts are extended to family members.
