On Saturday, June 1, Girl Scout Council of the Colonial Coast (GSCCC) honored 14 young leaders with the prestigious Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest honor a youth member can receive.
The awards were presented during the Girl Scouts Who AMAZE Celebration.
This year’s ceremony was held at L. Douglas Wilder Performing Arts Center at Norfolk State University.
At this inspiring celebration, GSCCC recognized Girl Scouts who have led the Hampton Roads and Outer Banks communities and beyond towards a brighter future by earning Girl Scouts’ highest awards: the Girl Scouts Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards.
