Thousands of boxes of Girl Scout Cookies – 671,808, to be exact – were distributed to local Girl Scout troops at three sites. Volunteers from 339 Girl Scout troops on the Outer Banks, Hampton Roads and outlying areas drove vans, trucks and U-Haul vehicles to pick up their sweet inventory which are now in hands of Girl Scout young entrepreneurs who will deliver to customers.
Nearly 250 volunteers came out to help with the distribution, including Girl Scout Ambassador Malana J. of Gates County.
The highly anticipated booth season began on Sunday, February 22, 2026, so customers who did not pre-order can now purchase their favorites.
