WINDSOR — A trio of Cadettes from Windsor who are members of Girl Scout Troop 726 are seeking to revive community visitation and support for the residents of Windsor Grove Health and Rehabilitation. Addie, Theresa and Maggie have chosen this project as they work toward earning the Girl Scout Silver Award, which is one of the highest awards in Girl Scouting.
Troop Leader Sharon Cook said, “They are reaching out to organizations, church groups, individuals, school organizations, sports organizations, anyone who is willing to just go up and spend time letting the seniors of Windsor Grove know that they’ve not been forgotten. It can be something as simple as walking the halls singing Christmas carols, handing out Valentines on Valentine’s Day to all the residents, something just to give them some interaction with the community.”
