Famous Formers
The Girl Scout Famous Formers celebration is one of Girl Scouts of the Colonial Coast’s most inspiring traditions, honoring remarkable women whose lives were shaped by their earliest experiences in Girl Scouting. These honorees stand out as leaders in their professions, champions in their communities, and shining examples of the courage, confidence, and character that Girl Scouting instills. Their stories remind us that the lessons learned around troop meetings, campfires, service projects, and badge‑earning adventures become the foundation for a lifetime of purpose and impact.
Our 2026 Famous Formers event will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, with the location and timing to be announced soon. As we prepare for this meaningful celebration, we invite our community to help us identify the next class of extraordinary women whose journeys began with a Girl Scout sash. We are seeking nominations of former Girl Scouts who have excelled in their professional fields, demonstrated exceptional leadership, or made significant contributions to society.

Your voice ensures their stories are celebrated and shared with the next generation of girls discovering their own potential. Nominations are due on May 22, 2026 by 5:00 p.m.
