Welcome to summer! With so many options to choose from in an amazing lineup of programs, we know your camper will be able to “explore more,” grow, and make lasting memories.
Common questions are addressed in the drop-downs below.
While at Camp...
What you can expect:
Camp meals and snacks are healthy and are foods kids like. We offer a vegetarian alternative at each meal. Most diets (gluten-free, diabetic, kosher, vegetarian, vegan, allergies, etc.) can be accommodated with advance notice.
Sleeping arrangements for overnight camp vary, but may include cabins, platform tents, or a lodge.
All hands on deck for kapers! Kapers are chores; it is important in Girl Scouting to learn that everyone must do their share.
Each camper will receive a camp T-shirt and patch per session attended!
What you can bring:
No phones! We require all campers to leave electronics at home. Campers may not call home. We encourage independence and self-reliance during camp. The camp director will contact caregivers if a camper has a medical problem, is excessively homesick or there is an emergency. Please discuss this with your child prior to camp.
No pets! Service animals specifically trained to aid a person with a disability are welcome. Comfort and/or emotional support animals are not service animals and are not recognized by the ADA.
Camp Bucks for the Trading Post, as no cash is allowed at camp.
All the information you need for camp, including required forms and emergency contacts, can be found in our caregiver packets.
A $50 non-refundable deposit or the full camp fee must be paid at the time of registration. Payment in full is due 3 weeks prior to the start of a session.
All non-Girl Scouts will pay an additional $45 to become registered Girl Scouts. (A one-time fee for all summer.)
Levels: Choose the Girl Scout grade level they will be in fall 2026, not what grade they are at the time of registration.
Safety
Safety of our campers is our top priority.
Our camps operate by the standards of Girl Scouts of the USA, which meet or exceed the standards of local and state health departments.
Storms: Outdoor activities are dependent on the weather. Should we need to adjust activities due to unsafe weather conditions, your camper will instead enjoy other activities that can be done indoors.
Camp staff are carefully chosen and interviewed for their skills and abilities, belief in the ideals of Girl Scouting, love of the outdoors, and passion for children’s education. All staff complete intensive training related to their position, including First Aid, CPR, camp craft skills, child development, waterfront skills, and conflict management.
There is a health center located at every camp and staffed around the clock by a health coordinator, who is certified in first aid and CPR. Each camp has an ongoing relationship with a health care facility nearby for consultation and emergency medical services if needed.
