In the Coastal Empire and Low Country areas of South Carolina and Georgia, oysters are often eaten at social gatherings. Locals are known to save the oyster shells for decorative purposes. Inspired by this tradition of creativity, join Ms. Chrissy for a live online art event! The oyster shells we decorate for this workshop are harvested from oyster beds in the Bull River in Georgia. (All supplies will be mailed to participants in advance.)

Girl Scout Juniors will earn the Outdoor Art Explorer badge and Girl Scout Cadettes will earn the Outdoor Art Apprentice badge. (The badge is not included with purchase but is available through the GSCCC shop.) Every participant will receive a fun event patch!

Price: $50

Event Location: Online (Zoom)

Registration Deadline: August 3
