Relax, Retreat and Recharge at Camp Skimino 

Unwind and have fun with us at our women-only weekend getaway from September 20-22! Relive all of your Girl Scout camp favorites—including climbing a rock wall, canoeing, archery and fun around a campfire with s'mores! We are adding an adult twist to the traditional Girl Scout camping experience with activities to help you thrive in your busy everyday life.

Women's Wellness Weekend is open to all adult women aged 21 and up, regardless of if you were a Girl Scout as a child or not. This year, we are offering an optional distillery excursion to our list of events! See details below.

Distillery Excursion (Optional)

Cost: $40

Join us for a tour of Eight Shire Coloniale Distillery, a Colonial American Distillery. Eight Shire is a distillery in historic Williamsburg making hand-crafted spirits using historic recipes and ingredients of the Colonial American period. Excursion fee includes a private tour of the distillery, transportation, and a tasting flight of the spirits created at the distillery. Guests must be 21 or older to join. 

Jamestown Women Tenacity Excursion (Optional)

Cost: $15

Join us for a special presentation and guided tour of the TENACITY: Women in Jamestown and Early Virginia exhibit at Jamestown. Enjoy a light breakfast while hearing a docent presentation on the Tenacity of women in colonial America followed by an guided tour through the exhibit. At the conclusion of the guided tour, you are welcome to enjoy the rest of Jamestown Settlement on your own. Just 20 minutes from Camp Skimino, this excursion is a great way to wrap up your Women’s Wellness Weekend! 

Schedule:

9:00 a.m. Breakfast

9:30 a.m. Classroom presentation on TENACITY by Bly Straub

10:00 a.m. Guided tour of TENACITY and tour of galleries

12:00 p.m. Tour outdoor areas independently
