2008 Cookie Pix

Troop #444 of Norfolk used their cookie money to put together ten baskets of kitchen and home supplies for families getting back on their feet after leaving The Dwelling Place shelter.

Troop #952 of Virginia Beach proudly display their cookie posters that helped them advertise their sales this year!

Gift Of Caring

Troop #1381 of Yorktown delivered over 125 boxes of cookies to the USO of Hampton Roads this week.  USO Director Libby Kendrick gave the girls a tour of the Raymond B. Bottom Newport News International Airport while they were there!

Gift Of Caring

Major Ann Johnson, from the Salvation Army, accepted over 260 boxes of cookies from Troop #1222 of Hampton as a part of their Gift of Caring program.  The cookies will be part of a grocery bag service that provides the homeless and local families in need with essential food--and now Girl Scout Cookies!

Gift Of Caring

Chloe, Larson, and Lacey of Troop #89 of Chesapeake delivered over 40 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies to the Ronald McDonald House in Norfolk as a part of the Gift of Caring program!  Families staying there have children dealing with major medical challenges at CHKD.  These cookies will be offered to the families and are sure to brighten their day!

Three girls from Troop #5121 of Portsmouth pose underneath one of the Girl Scout Cookie billboards!

Alanna D., Reighann B., and Brenna C. of Troop #5 got to meet ODU Lady Monarch Megan Pym after their booth sale at the basketball game.

(Megan likes Thin Mints!)

Troop #502 made their own sandwich boards to catch customer attention at their booth in Virginia Beach.
