Adults in Girl Scouts
Adults play a prominent role in Girl Scouts as parents, volunteers, staff, alumnae, donors,
and as friends who help us build growing community partnerships. Involving more people,
places and organizations, will lead to more
leadership experiences for the girls.
We need adults from diverse sources to enhance, strengthen and support the lives of girls
we serve. Forming connections with adults from various groups in our community will help
increase our visibility, assist us in raising financial support, form troop sponsorships
and recruit needed volunteers.
Whatever role you choose as an adult in Girl Scouting, you will certainly be expanding
girls' horizons while expanding your own personal and professional life.
